The film “Brochevarevarura” revolves around the lives of three friends, Vishal (played by Sree Vishnu), Rocky (played by Priyadarshi), and Rambo (played by Rahul Ramakrishna), who keep failing their intermediate exams and waste their time. When Mitra (played by Nivetha Thomas) joins their college, she becomes close to them, and they find out about her issues with her father. The trio decides to help her, but their plan backfires, causing massive problems for them.
One of the film’s strengths is its continuous dose of comedy. Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna’s chemistry and comic timing are exceptional and provide good humor throughout the first half. Nivetha Thomas’s performance is also impressive, and she fits perfectly in her role. The kidnapping scenes are narrated in a unique screenplay and create superb humor.
The film’s use of the bag of money as a key factor is brilliant, and Satya Dev’s performance is exceptional. Nivetha Pethuraj and Harshvardhan also give impressive performances.
The second half of the film is a bit slow, and the chasing scenes feel dragged. The plot is routine, and the father-daughter bond could have been better established. The lead characters take too much time to be established, which slows down the film.
The background score by Vivek Sagar is one of the film’s biggest assets, and the production values look top-notch. The rustic locales look good, and the dialogues are hilarious.
Director Vivek Athreya takes a different route with his second film and delivers a simple yet entertaining kidnap comedy with humor and thrills. The lead cast’s performance is heartwarming, and the director uses all his characters well.
Overall, “Brochevarevarura” is a clean comedy that won’t disappoint audiences. The film’s fun and entertaining thrills keep you hooked for the most part, but things slow down in the second half. However, it’s still worth watching for its talented cast and superb comedy.
